The UK Government’s Call for Evidence on The Road to Net Zero

Approaching Net Zero with Biomass
The road to net zero never did run smooth.
In 2021 the UK Department for Energy, Security and Net Zero teamed up with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to put forward a Call for Evidence to strengthen the UK’s biomass evidence base and its contribution to net zero targets.
They needed input from industry leaders, academics, trade, public sector representatives, utilities and not-for-profits to develop an effective biomass strategy.
Zero confusion with Citizen Space
It was essential the UK government received in-depth, qualitative responses to specific questions.
Citizen Space’s versatile question and answer components allowed them to build their questions in the best way to get the exact insights and detailed responses that were required.
Biomass-ing the results
Of 144 responses to the Call for Evidence, over half took place on Citizen Space, more than any other method used.
Stakeholder responses were detailed and in-depth, leading to the government to conclude more citizen and stakeholder input was required to form a cohesive Biomass Strategy.
