Delib is the data controller of any personal information you enter onto this website. We are responsible for ensuring that the personal information you submit when interacting with us is collected, processed, secured and retained in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Scope: who this Privacy Notice applies to

This Privacy Notice applies to all website users, in all countries throughout our global operation.

This Privacy Notice does not apply to personal information we process on behalf of our customers. In those circumstances, the relevant customer will be acting as the data controller and Delib is their data processor. Please refer to the relevant party's privacy terms to see how your personal information is accessed, used and shared.

Retention

How long we keep your data after you have provided it:

Demonstration requests, downloading content and video content requests: if you or your organisation does not become a customer, your details will be held for a maximum of 5 years and once your information is no longer needed for a lawful purpose, it will be de-identified or destroyed. If deletion is requested sooner, then the information will be de-identified or destroyed at that point. If you or your organisation becomes a customer, your details will be held as a customer contact and retained in line with the customer retention period.

Marketing data: retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our list, plus 24 months after unsubscribing to ensure suppression.

Information we collect through use of our website

We collect information on this site to assess how our website is used, including through Google Analytics. This includes data such as: internet protocol (IP) address (which is used to connect your computer to the internet), browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

We may use this information to assess if our marketing is effective, to calculate the percentage of users accessing a particular page or specific website feature, and to analyse how we can improve our website functionality, products and services, customer relationships and website experience. This helps us to develop our business and inform our marketing strategy.

How we keep your information secure

We have put in place and maintain technical and organisational security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, damage, disclosure or loss.

You acknowledge that the use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we cannot guarantee the security or integrity of any information that is transferred from you or to you via the internet. If you have any particular concerns about your information, please contact our Data Protection Officer (below).

Data subject rights: your legal rights in relation to your information

Where processing takes place in the UK, EU or EEA, or if you are a resident of the UK, EU or EEA, under GDPR and your local data protection laws, you have the right to request:

  • whether we are the controller of your information, and if we are, what that information is, how it is processed, why we're holding it, who we share it with and how long we keep it for
  • a copy of any information we hold about you
  • that any inaccurate or out of date information is corrected
  • that information about you is provided to you in a machine-readable format

  • request that your information is erased
  • ask that the processing of your information is restricted
  • object to any decisions that have affected you significantly, where you consider such decisions to have been made based on automated decision making and profiling without any meaningful human input

If you have given us your consent for the processing of your personal information, you can withdraw that consent at any time, including for direct marketing.

Before responding to a request, we may ask for information necessary and proportionate to verify that the request comes from the individual to whom the information relates, or an authorised representative. Any personal information collected for verification will be used only for that purpose. Once we have verified your identity, we will respond within one calendar month of receipt of your request.
