Unmasking those wiki editors

Wikis are always an interesting thing, that not only bring benefits, but also provoke debate over the usages of new technologies.

Generally, things like wikipedia can be seen as more useful than not on balance, given the vast amount of information therein. There have been though cases of people anonymously editing wiki entries to spin their side of the story, sometimes this being done by the person or persons in the wiki article concerned. Basically, a wiki is never going to be as reliable as an offline encyclopedia.

So this is great. A new tool that allows you to look up organisations and see times when they may have altered wiki entries and what they edited. Basically, uncovering the identity of anonymous wiki editors and seeing what they’ve been up to.

It’s running really slowly at the moment, due to it spreading all across the blogsphere, but can see a good couple of hours of fun to be had with this one at least.
