A: A Robot. Simple. Not my first thought either, and that’s why it’s great. Here’s a smart way from V-The National Young Volunteers Service to do just that. It’s a website where young people can take control of a robotic arm that is in the Houses of Parliament. The robot arm is equipped with a marker pen and a stack of paper and whatever you type is written out by the robot in real time. If it’s successful (and not offensive) it will be one of 1500 comments submitted for politicians to review. Call it a gimmick but if it gets young people talking/interested in politics then it’s got to be good thing. V-The National Young Volunteers Service is run by a board of young people, as appose to a bunch of older people trying to ‘connect’ with young folk, so I guess you can say the ideas are starting to get through. Great work.
