Delib selected by London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) as consultation partner

Delib are pleased to announce that we’re once again working with LFEPA as their consultation partner – helping them consult with stakeholders across London on the draft London Safety Plan 2011-13.

We’ve been working with LFEPA now for the last 4 years, running their consultation process.  When we first started work with their team in 2005 the idea of using the internet as a consultation channel was a fairly radical idea – however, 4 years down with the rise of social media the internet is now becoming a dominant consultation channel.

This year will provide the Authority with complete managed consultation services on the draft plan. The scope of Delib’s role covers the initial consultancy on the content and the range of questions asked by LFEPA to their stakeholders. There will also be continued use and ongoing development of an existing online consultation portal, and a detailed outreach and engagement campaign.

Michaela Dennis, Consultant at Delib said: “We’re proud that an organisation as well regarded and recognised as LFEPA have chosen us again to provide their online consultation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.”

“Consultation and public involvement is increasingly important in public life, and Delib will continue to be at the forefront of providing online applications to support this.”

The engagement campaign is designed to reach out to the wider public in order to increase participation and encourage more people to get involved in the decision making process.  Delib will provide full service campaign management of online and offline responses as well as  analysis and final reports.

Michaela Dennis said: “LFEPA understand how important running such engagement projects are to their stakeholders, i.e, the people of London, and they are leading the way for Fire Authorities in this field.”
